Meet Dan

Bay County Property Appraiser Dan Sowell was born in Panama City in 1959. He is the son of Maurice and Iris Sowell. He is married to Cheryl Pippin Sowell. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City. Dan is a graduate of GCCC and FSU. He began his career in the property appraiser's office in 1987. He was elected as property appraiser in 2008. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Property Appraiser Association of Florida.
